| A Celtic Blessing This old Celtic blessing, celebrating the beauty of the natural world, is surrounded by a detailed border illustrating the six created forms of life, besides man. Guarding over them is a welcoming angel with outstretched arms, the intermediary between man and God. This blessing was read at my own grandmother's funeral and truly reflected her love of the natural world around her. Included with the design is information on the meaning of the Celtic symbols used, as well as a charted alphabet for creating your own personal dedication (optional) to a loved one. | St. Martin's Celtic Cross This design is based on St. Martin's Cross, an old stone Celtic cross situated near to the site of St. Columba's cell on the Scottish island of Iona. St. Columba settled here after being banished from Ireland for copying the Book Of Psalms written by Finnian of Clonard, probably the first known case of infringement of copyright, and subsequently established a monastery on the small remote island. This beautiful design, stitched in greys and beiges, is perfectly completed with a rich edging of gold. Fabric: 14 HPI Aida
